Lamine Ndiaye profite, également, de cet entretien pour appeler Macky Sall à renoncer à briguer un troisième mandat. “Macky Sall est un bon président, observe-t-il. Je salue toutes ses belles réalisations à Dakar et sur l’étendue du territoire mais il temps qu’il respecte sa promesse concernant le troisième mandat. Nous voulons la stabilité dans ce pays et seul le président Macky Sall peut éviter que le Sénégal ne sombre dans le chaos. Nous lui donnons le temps de réfléchir d’ici quelques jours pour prendre une décision allant dans le bon sens”.
À rappeler que Lamine Ndiaye est toujours en convalescence. Il doit aller se soigner à l’étranger mais les conditions ne sont toujours pas réunies pour lui permettre cela. “Je suis un bon croyant, je laisse tout entre les mains de Dieu”, affirme-t-il. Entretien.
